Infrared Longwave Pass (IR LWP) Filters transmit wavelengths longer than their specified 5% cut-on wavelength and block shorter wavelengths. Stock filters are optimized for collimated input at normal incidence and ambient temperature (0° AOI, f/inf, 298K). Cut-on slope for standard products is <=5% and out-of-band (OOB) transmission levels are <=0.1% average and <=1% maximum in the cited blocking range. Custom IR longwave pass filters can be designed, manufactured, and verified to meet almost any spectral and/or system operating requirement.
