Wavelength Division Multiplex Filters (WDM)

The family of miniaturized fWDM filters are designed for the fiber optics communication markets. The 45 degree filters are designed to separate various wavelengths of light at an angle of 90 degrees to each. The 45 degree filters are not 100% efficient. They reflect approximately 15% of the transmitted wavelengths. This unwanted energy can be substantially reduced or eliminated by inserting a second trim filter. The trim filters are designed to be used at 0 degrees.
