Hot Mirrors

The hot mirror is designed to separate heat from light. The infrared radiation (heat) is reflected (>96%) and the visible light is transmitted (>80%). The hot mirror allows the use of high intensity radiation sources with heat sensitive materials. The hot mirror is optimized for 0 degrees. The coating can be applied to most optical substrates from the ultraviolet to the near infrared.
