Our thin film coating department can apply a full range of anti reflection (AR), attenuation, longwave pass (LWP), shortwave pass (SWP), and other optical coatings effective in the infrared (IR) and far infrared (FIR) bands. Reynard's Standard Infrared SpecificationsReynard's windows are designed for use in precision optical systems. The clear aperture of these windows measures 90% of the diameter. Optical transmission is high with little or no distortion of the transmitted signal. Circumferences are ground and both edges are beveled. Infrared and Far Infrared PhotolithographyReynard's photolithography department can create patterns as small as 8 microns on infrared substrates up to 14" in diameter. Coating materials such as Chrome, Aluminum, Gold and Black Chrome are used, in addition to more exotic materials for the far infrared (FIR).
