Reynard Corporation specializes in a unique capability known as photolithography. This is a process of producing extremely small micron size patterns on glass, plastic, ceramics and most vacuum compatible substrates. This technique is unique in that it can incorporate a lift off process or an etching process.
Photolithography patterns can be used for such applications as optical targets, reticles, cross hairs, alignment patterns, resolution patterns, QC patterns, encoder disks, pinholes, optical slits, and angle measuring devices.
The coated patterns can be made from hard all-dielectric coating materials such as quartz, titanium dioxide and sapphire as well as other standard metallic materials such as chrome, gold and aluminum.

The Aerospace industry is currently using our small covert IR filters, colored gun sights and small alignment patterns for range finding. This technique is used to fabricate polka dot beam splitters. The filter either transmits or reflects the incident radiation. Thus wide wavelengths can be used to reflect and transmit extreme UV to the far IR. Other industries using our photolithography technology are medical, industrial, laser and telecommunications. Asher for cleaning optical elements.
